I have always liked the rain .
It is so beautiful .
It is so beautiful .
Last night the softly falling raindrops sounded like a lullaby
on
a long winter's night .
on
a long winter's night .
Everything looks greener, brighter
and
so much more alive after a rain shower .
I love walking in the rain .
I even like splashing in the puddles
and
I don't mind getting wet at all .
There are so many things you can do on a quiet rainy day at home .
.
Rain is such a beautiful gift from Our Heavenly Father .

Rainy afternoons
can be a lovely time to drive along the shore
of Galveston Bay .
One moment it was raining
and then
as I turned and looked again the sky cleared
I saw this !

If it rained at your house today I hope you were blessed by it .

No rain here today, just sunshine. That's a beautiful sunset picture on the Bay.
ReplyDeleteWE enjoyed a steady, slow rain all weekend. =)
ReplyDeleteOh how beautiful! We only have snow up here in Ohio! :) Love seeing the green!

I think I enjoy rain much more now than I did when I was younger. I don't even mind running errands in the rain. Maybe because it is so cozy to dry off and be home when I am done.
ReplyDeleteA walk in gentle rain is a delight to the senses!
ReplyDeleteDottie, your sunset photo is gorgeous! What a gift :-)
bless you..Trish
Your respect for beauty is so inspiring and important for all of us to remember. I have heard how beautiful Galveston is. It is fun to hear about and see pictures from around this wonderful country of ours. Thank you for showing your part of it. If you like rain, come to the Pacific NW! Seriously. The spring is the best time, it is still raining some and the rhodies and azaleas are stunning.
