Sunrise To Sunset

I will follow my God from sunrise to sunset.
I will set my eyes upon Him.

Glimpses of my week
filled
with a lot of goodness.

Greek food, wine and dancing .... so good!!!

Shabby Chic flag swaying in the soft breeze over the garden

A suprise Mother's Day 's gift in the bag of my Salvation Army purchase
How did they know I adore chocolates?

A painted white bathroom floor that turned out so well

New Saint Pierre tomato plants

One of my tomatoes in the garden showing a slight rosy glow

The first bowl of garden salsa

Warm water in the jacuzzi

Fruity Sangria

A long phone visit with my son

Grandmother's Shrimp Gumbo served with white rice
and
French bread

The perfect cool white blouse to wear with jeans bought for 90 cents

Candlelight from the candelabra on the patio

The lovely,lovely moon

Was your week filled with
goodness, too?

  11. I just sent you a comment but it seems to have disappeared. I think you would enjoy the book. It is a page turner and is entertaining and at the same time sort of eye-opening, depending on where you grew up. It's neither sad nor happy I don't think and you do become attached to certain characters. It takes place in Jackson, MS in the 60s. You probably would do better reading the book if you can, before seeing the movie. :-)

  12. Love the photo of the moon. I took one a few nights ago when it was just a sliver, but I really like your close up shot.

And the first garden salsa....well, it doesn't get much better than that.
