Count Your Blessings

Sometimes there are no words for the joy of God's blessings
This week has been a week like that .
My week has been filled with discomfort and toothache pain .
After visiting the dentist and taking medication for the infection the dentist said
" The tooth can not be saved and it must be removed !!! "
Oh my goodness !!!
The moment he said the word removed I was filled with anxiety .

Last night we had a thunderstorm and I could not sleep .
As I was listening to the rain I heard the Lord whisper
to me
"Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you." 1 Peter 5:7

I remembered the sweet song
Count Your Blessings One By One
and
I started counting all
that He had blessed me with
and
it was too lovely for words .

On one of my most restless nights I found this web site .

A Holy Experience-Because All Of Life Flames With God

I know God lead me there
for
it is a blessing and altogether lovely to my heart
and
you my sweet friend are a blessing....

Dotttie

I am linking to Thursday's Simple Pleasures .

  5. Hope this finds you doing better. Am guessing that you can not complete the dental work until the infection has cleared. The dentist office - not my favorite place; but so glad to have a good dentist when you need one.
It is just like you - not to dwell on the bad, but to be thankful for the good things.

  22. First, let me say that I totally get the tooth ache anxiety! I would have done the same thing. I hope that I would have also done what you did and cast my cares on Him.

I sure loved your blessings that you counted here for us! Plus, I have visited that website and felt that God had his hand on the keyboard for me, too.

    Great simple pleasures.
And I hope the tooth situation got better!
