The Lunar Eclipse

On

the night of the Full Lunar Eclipse

the
sky was a perfect black velvet
but
it was very, very cold and oh so windy

I
was very excited and so cold my hands
were shaking
as I tried to hold my camera still to take a closeup of the moon.

As
I stood under the night sky
and
watched the moon.....slowly turn red
I
could feel  a peace and a great understanding of God's mighty hands.

"The heavens declare the glory of God;the skies proclaim the work of his hands."
I never could make my cold hands be still to take a closeup.
I will never forget this night.

  1. That night our sky was filled with storm clouds and it rained and rained. But I have loved seeing your photos, and wishing you a blessed Easter celebration.
