Just a Day



Today

I placed a large chocolate bunny on my pine farm table

added

 a few new dried flowers and herds to my vintage wooden bowl

smiled

 at my Queen Elizabeth rose that is blooming

started

my day with oatmeal ,strawberries and bananas

gathered

 Chard from my garden to share with a friend








Today was just a day like so many other days in my life

filled

 with the quiet and simple things that make me just Dottie.

    You make everything so beautiful. I have a big wooden bowl....empty! I should put some dried flowers in it! What a beautiful idea! Love your cereal with fruit. That's my favorite breakfast or snack! Have a glorious week my friend! Hugs, Diane

    Now that is oatmeal. Last year, just to make their parents mad, I bought each grandchild the biggest chocolate bunnies I could find.

    I love your display and food preparations! Your photos are beautiful. I saw a large chocolate bunny yesterday, and I thought how beautiful it would be to display one, but it has been unseasonably warm here. I'm thankful that I have some salad fixings in the garden.
