It's no longer summer 
not quite fall
and
right in the middle of hurricane season
but
in spite
of
unpredictable weather
and
lingering heat
it
has been filled
with the beauty of a simple life.

    I was pleased to hear that the little plastic containers work well as mini-greenhouses, some of the seeds I am planting are so small and need to be sown on the surface. I think this will be just the ticket.

    You find so much beauty in everything. I hope there are no hurricanes in sight!

    Good Morning Dottie, Here in England there is certainly a chill in the morning air, to tell us that Autumn is just around the corner. Because of the change in the weather, my garden is full of beautiful spiders cobwebs, they drape from plant to plant. I have a beautiful cobweb just outside my kitchen window which is draped between two conifer trees, when the morning sun shines on the cobweb, you can see the morning dew glistening like diamonds. This sight makes me smile each morning when I open my blinds.

    The plant pot, with your grandchildren's hands painted on, is so very lovely which I am sure makes your heart sing every time you look at it.

    A lovely, peaceful post once again. You have touched my heart dear Dottie, inspired me to keep looking for and appreciating the simple and beautiful in ordinary days. Thank you.

    I hope we have no hurricanes too. We went through Francis and Jeanne in 2004, then the whopper Wilma in 2005. This morning we are having a thunderstorm to the east of us.

    No rain here for nearly a month and hot August temps. It will be so nice to feel autumn is on its way. Glad the hurricanes have been absent and that you are enjoying the simple times.

    On the other side of the world Spring has sprung but our weather is fickle and we are having wild storms!

    Yes I definitely love simple - that's the sweet life for me!
    I have those same little pink lillies growing in my garden too (in the first picture!)
