Sunday
was
a lovely lavender blue kind
of day
spent at my brother's home
on the water
gathered around our 89 year old Mom.
I am the oldest of nine children
and
we have been so blessed to still have our Mom.
Smiles,

ReplyDeleteYou are very blessed to have her for your mom... and she is very blessed to have you, Dottie.
ReplyDeleteOh, God bless your sweet Mum, Dottie. She's quite a lady. Loved your photos and the photos in your last post, too. They were dreamy.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for stopping by my blog and commenting, too. So nice to have you visit. Susan

Day with Mom, on the water, with family - sounds pretty great.
ReplyDeleteHow wonderful- Happy Mother's Day!
ReplyDeleteLovely! Lovely Mom, lovely day, lovely mood, lovely collage.
ReplyDeleteDottie, she looks so precious, and yes, you are blessed to still have her. My mother has been gone for 23 years this week, and I miss her every day and give thanks for the wonderful mother she was to each of us. And my dad, too. They were a true blessing.
ReplyDeleteGlad you had a wonderful Mother's Day, and nine children? Wow1 My best friend's mom had severn, and I loved going to their house. There was always so much going on there.
Dropping by from Claudia's party and enjoyed you sharing your mom with us.
XO,
Sheila

ReplyDeleteNine children? How did she survive? Tee hee! Nice family!
ReplyDeleteHappy belated Mothers Day to you and your dear Mom, Dottie! She's darling, looks so contented and happy. I miss my mom so much ... can't believe she's been gone nearly 17 years now.
ReplyDeleteHappy weekend to you!
Your mother is beautiful, Dottie. She looks very happy to be surrounded by her loved ones. Nine children? She deserves an award!

With a mom at 84, I feel so lucky too! What a beautiful post and I can see you enjoyed a lovely day!
ReplyDeleteYour mom has such a sweet face! I envy you being one of nine children. I am an only child and often feel sad that I never had brothers and sisters. You are a lucky girl!
ReplyDeleteBig Hugs,
Susan and Bentley
I come from a family of nine children too, but I am number six! Family get-togethers are always very noisy and happy occasions. Both my parents are in their 80's and still living independently. Your mum looks a lot like mine!
ReplyDeleteHave just found your blog, and looking forward to reading more!
How wonderful, Dottie! You are indeed so blessed to still have your mother. I hope you had a beautiful day together.
ReplyDeleteHow beautiful Dottie!
ReplyDeleteMoms are the sweetest...so glad you had such a great day with your mom and family!
All my heart,
Deborah xoxo
