A Sunday Kind of Day

Sunday

was

a lovely lavender blue kind

of day

spent at my brother's home

on the water

gathered around our 89 year old Mom.

I am the oldest of nine children

and

we have been so blessed to still have our Mom.

Smiles,

'Dottie

  10. Dottie, she looks so precious, and yes, you are blessed to still have her. My mother has been gone for 23 years this week, and I miss her every day and give thanks for the wonderful mother she was to each of us. And my dad, too. They were a true blessing.

Glad you had a wonderful Mother's Day, and nine children? Wow1 My best friend's mom had severn, and I loved going to their house. There was always so much going on there.

Dropping by from Claudia's party and enjoyed you sharing your mom with us.

    XO,

    Sheila

  15. Your mom has such a sweet face! I envy you being one of nine children. I am an only child and often feel sad that I never had brothers and sisters. You are a lucky girl!

  16. I come from a family of nine children too, but I am number six! Family get-togethers are always very noisy and happy occasions. Both my parents are in their 80's and still living independently. Your mum looks a lot like mine!
Have just found your blog, and looking forward to reading more!
