I have been thinking
about
the word rest
and
what a beautiful gift it is.
I am recovering from pneumonia.
My grandmother called the time after an illness when the body heals
convalescence.
I have been moving slowly from one resting place to another
being
gentle with myself, as she would of said.

My grandmother was so right!
Convalescence is a gift of quite beauty.

You just have to rest it out and take your meds. I have had two mild cases, both at this time of year. That's is odd when you think of pneumonia as being a cold weather illness.
ReplyDeleteGet well soon.
ReplyDeleteDottie, I love your comfy resting places especially the swing.
ReplyDeleteI would definitely get better in those spots. Some hot lemonade made with honey and real lemons and a stack of magazines and some Nyquil will keep you from doing too much. Get well!
ReplyDeleteGlad to see you're on the mend, Dottie dear.

You have the most beautiful places to rest, hope you feel stronger with each new day.
ReplyDeletePraying Gods healing upon you Dottie and joy in His Presence...as you rest in Him.
