This
last week of May days has been
last week of May days has been
beautifully windy with sunny blue days filled with puffy clouds
that
fade into pink and blue sunsets.
I have been quietly following close behind
each
softly fading day of this gentle month
savoring each moment.
I have not hurried the days
but
I have rejoiced in their quietness and beauty!
For
I know soon Blazing Texas Heat
and
his best friend Mr. Mosquito
will
spend their summer vacation with us!!!
This week I......
loved being greeted every early morning
by
sweet Addie in a garden filled with mallow flowers as large as dinner plates
wondered why I did not plant Mexican Hat flowers sooner
since looking at them makes me so happy
answering a phone call last night and hearing a tiny sweet voice
say
"Nana how do you say I love you in French?"
Oh be still my heart!!!!
daydreaming and reading while listening to Bob Seger sing to me
thinking I never would have thought it
but
I love Sushi
filling as many vases as posible with my pink Queen Elizabeth roses
mmmm! smelling dried pink and blue petals from my garden scented with rose oil
having blackberry love
and
making the very best blackberry coffee cake ever
Smiles,
Dottie
