Looking for cool

It is still Hot
and
what is rain?
It seems to have forgotten where I live!!!

So I have been looking for
cool
breezes, water and foods
wherever
 I can find them!!!

I think I have found a few....

following- the breeze to a ferry ride over the ship channel

enjoying- a picnic basket filled with wine, cheese, fruit and baguettes
under
 a dark sky filled with summer stars at the Shakespeare Festival

eating- shrimp salad, 
spicy India food, and sushi.

finding- if all else fails my way to the nearest fan.

following the Texas breeze
ferry ride across the ship channel

magical sunset on the hill at the Shakespeare Festival
such at pretty night
Taming Of The Shrew( a modern production) at the Shakespeare Festival
shrimp salad  sushi  Tandoori chicken

I am cool and I hope you are too.

    Oh, I am so with you on this one! I have been searching for cool myself and running out of ideas. I love yours though. And can I just say that I was captivated by your photo under the caption "such a pretty night". Just gorgeous!

    Love your cool ideas:) Even here in The Great Smoky Mtns., it has been VERY hot. Hopefully by the first of the week, we may get a bit of a cool down. In the meantime, I think we may go up deep into the mountains with a picnic....follow the trails to a beautiful waterfall and daydream on the mountain side. Blessings~~Shine

    It has been a while since I crossed the ship channel. I grew up in La Porte and miss the breezes from the bay.
    I heard we are getting rain until the middle of October. I hope they are wrong.

    Dottie, I LOVE that photo outside with all the folks in lawn chairs at night! So looks like a fun place to be!! Hope you are enjoying the full moon evening tonight and get us some more lovely photos! blessings ~ tanna
