Just Passing Time

Today turned into one of those easy kind of days .

Last night I was awaken by a thunder storm
that was just passing by
that turned into a gentle rain .
It was just what the new planting of Blue Lake Bush Beans needed !
This afternoon it is sunny and oh so lovely!!
As I looked at my to do list I decided to just do what I wanted to .
So
today I passed time at the 99 Cent Store .
They remind me so much of the Five & Dime stores I used to go to with my grandmother .
You never know what you will find there .
Today it was strawberries and cute summer socks to wear at night .
Yea ! Strawberry Shortcake and warm feet tonight .

On the way home I stopped at Cherry's Farm Store, my most favorite place to pass time .
It is a wonderland for a want to be farm girl like me......
I always want everything but today
just
a few oregano plants
climbing spinach plants
and
organic fertilizer
came home with me .
I had to leave the cutest little brown bunny that stole my heart there
but
I think I really do need three white doves for my little grandbabies
for Easter .

Today really did turn out to be one of the best kind of days .
It just passed too fast !!

  8. So, did you get the doves?
We have been getting rain also, and it has helped in softening the ground and making it easier for me to turn over the soil, pull out weeds and fibrous weeds. I just hope I finish with the preparations soon, so like you, I can begin to do some planting.
    Strawberry shortcake, yum.

Glad that your garden is being planted, I certainly have the fever to get everything in the ground, and growing.
