Resting

I have been resting .

I am not a resting kind of girl
but
the dreaded flu has made a house call .

Today I feel much better  .

I so miss my little grandbabies company
but
I know I need a few more days of rest .

So I am using this blue sky, feeling better, rest day
to turn
my
winter dreams into summer wishes .

Thank you for sharing my feel better rest day with me !!

  4. What beautiful linens you have. I have had some of my most creative moments while recovering from being ill. I hope that you are better soon. Take extra care.

  5. I too have been sick all week and actually have enjoyed time at home and resting. The quiet has been wonderful after a busy few months and the holidays.

  6. I really DID share your rest day with you! I hope you feel MUCH better today! I twisted my back and sat with a heating pad most of the day! I got up and down all day to do little chores...I hate sitting around when I see so much that needs to be done! But my back feels better today and I hope you are well, too! HUGS! ♥♥♥ Wish we were close enough to take a walk together today! ♥♥♥

  8. I hope you feel better soon, you are smart to rest especially with such beautiful linens! Looking and dreaming through a pile of seed catalogs is among my favorite things to do.
Hope the blue sky continues where you are and you are back on your feet soon...

  10. So lovely! Hubby and I are tucked in watching some tv. Got kids 'checking in' during this wet icy stuff. Be glad when they all are tucked in too. My but we are blessed! Hope your recovery is fast and your rest is lovely!

  12. Yes, pay attention to what your body says it needs. "Rest," then rest. Even when you are feeling great, a little rest is good for you.
I will be thinking about you and wishing you well!
