Oh My !

It is seriously cold today
outside
my frosty windows
but
I am inside
where
it twinkles and glows.

as soon as I find my grandmother's apron
the
kitchen and I are ready for ...the big cooking day...

I am wondering if I should put on some more layers
of
my treasured mismatched flannels and fuzzy  striped socks
before
I dash out into the garden and harvest the fennel and lettuce
I want to use on Thanksgiving Day

because

it's so cold even sheep are wearing sweaters!

unknown

This Thanksgiving I am thankful for so many blessings
and
one of them is you...

  5. Your home is so cozy and beautiful! And I see your dishes stacked there in the kitchen-- a nice way to store them and show their beauty as well. I hope you stay warm and dry in all this weather, get your lettuce safely picked and have a lovely Thanksgiving!

  9. Oh my gosh, the sheep photo made me giggle! It's so nice that you still have your grandmother's apron. I wish I had my grandmother's but alas, it got lost before coming into my possession. Hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving!
