It's summertime
with
it's dry heat
and
I would not have it any other way.
I love the long, slow, lazy days
that
are perfect for so many
All of these things make me happy
especially
the figs.
I wait all year for them
and
this year they are just heavenly.

yum...you have figs! We have humidity here right now but I was smokin' hot in the kitchen yesterday..making jam! Strawberries are ripe here and right now I am tasting it on toast as I visit!
