I am so thankful that winter
my
least favorite season
is
filled with glorious light.

I too love the warm glow of winter's lights. I enjoy winter. Of course, living in the south our winter's are much less severe than many places. I love having longer to relax in the evenings. Thank you for your comments. I am glad you have recuperated. My injuries are minor...scraps and bruises.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful weekend. Bonnie
The candlelight is so beautiful.
ReplyDeleteLike you I adore this time of year and for the same reasons...the music, the sparkle, the lights. Everything seem lovelier at this season.
ReplyDeleteYou're such a romantic Dottie. I love the lights of the season too ~ and you're so right, they do help dispelled the darkess. Blessings.
ReplyDeleteDottie- What a beautiful, wonderful post. I, too, love the light but for us winter is a cold, dark season with many overcast gloomy days. I sure do love a snow fall on a crisp clear night though- xo Diana
ReplyDeleteReally nice! Such a pretty tree.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful post with a message we all can enjoy.

Beautiful photos of the stars and the moonlight over Galveston bay! Love the soft glow of candlelight in your home and I really like the lantern
ReplyDeleteI feel the same way. All of the lamps in our house are turned on, soon there will be pretty little fairy lights everywhere. Oh, that moon over Galveston Bay!!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for joining in this week!

Hi Dottie, I don't really like winter either, but I do love feeling cozy in a room with pretty lighting. This was a pretty post! Jean
ReplyDeleteSuch beautiful lights and twinkles everywhere. I love the tree-so soft and pretty.
ReplyDeleteYou are right Dottie...Jesus is the most precious and beautiful Light.
ReplyDeleteLove that tree and the beauty here.
Hugs.

A very nice idea for a post. I loved reading it. Beautiful light. I am enjoying the flameless candles this year because I have a fear of real candles burning down the house.
ReplyDeleteI definitely miss the light in winter, but looks like you have supplies you own and it's lovely :)
ReplyDeleteDottie,
ReplyDeleteYou have managed to pull the lights from the sky!
Ah sparkling lights, whether on the tree or in the sky, always delight, as we recall the Light of the World.
ReplyDeleteDottie ... I love how you make every moment precious!!!!!! All is calm. All is bright.
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous tree! And your kitchen is magical, too! I love the shelf above your sink. I could learn so much about decorating from you. I love your style!
