French Sweetness

After taking a bit of a tumble while out jogging last week
I
am back on my feet  again!!!

So I woke early and went to the farmers market.
I was so sure someone there would have
fresh brussel sprouts and sweet baby carrots!!!
My new passion...... but the day was damp
and
not many vendors were there.
I will try again next week
or
maybe they will be ready to harvest from my garden.

I was feeling a little down and then I remembered
my old passion
breakfast at la Madeleine!

a french country breakfast

French sweetness

please come home with  me !!

After not my very best week
a little French sweetness is a very good thing!!!!

  2. So sorry for your tumble. At first I read you had taken a "tumble from blogging." LOL . The French pastry breakfast sounds like just the ticket for a good start to a weekend and a new week ahead! Take care of yourself!

  4. Sweet Dottie, from Texas? Love your blog too and I lived in Houston for 11 years and went often to La Madelines. Tulsa is getting one in the near future and I can't wait to go again.

  5. I am glad you are feeling better, you did have a rough week. I can't wait for the joy of harvesting from our garden again. I do go to the Farmers market too. But, there's nothing better than picking in straight from your own garden. That breakfast looks divine. xo
