I am in slow down mode
just
following after the days and nights
catching moments of summer bliss wherever I find it.
Life feels so right in this magical, summery month of July.
Addie in her garden party dress looking too sweet to frighten the birds in the fig tree away
golden kissed Saint Pierre tomatoes....almost too lovely to eat
ripe mangoes with lime, in salsa, and just by themselves, for breakfast, lunch and anytime in between, hopefuly every July day while they cost only one dollar for 4! Oh My!!!
I wonder if this is a stairway to heaven or just the entrance to a rabbit hole
It is very hot at this moment
but
my eyes are wide open to the windows of summer .

ReplyDeleteThey're my favourite fruit and I'm a little jealous that you're buying 4 for $1 - a girl could could mad with joy!lol!

Dear Dottie,
ReplyDeleteWow, enjoy those wonderful mangoes; what a delight! Your blog makes my mouth water. :) We have some green tomatoes who are slowly getting bigger each day, but I'm glad that yours are already on for you.
Summer is a wonderful wonderland, isn't it? We are loving the fireflies and treefrogs here in Missouri, that we didn't have in Idaho. Plus is SO green with all the heat and rain!
Love and blessings,
Marqueta
Dottie,
ReplyDeleteI love your slow-down mode and it makes me want to do the same. I do like mangos and now I wonder why I don't eat them more often. Your tomatoes look lovely and I could eat them right off the vine. Simply a summery pleasure.

Love mangoes, the scent of a nice ripe one brings back fond memories of Cuba. Have you ever tried a mango smoothy? Yummy
