Vintage Beauty

 

 

I adore vintage clothing.

 

I love to open my closet door each morning

and

see rows

of

pastel colors,ribbons,lace,silks and tulle.

 

I sometime wonder
about
who walked in beauty while wearing them

and
 was it to a dance, a tea or a wedding?

 

 

Do I wear them?

 

No

 

but sweet Miss Addie does.

An Ordinary Day

 

 

Today

 

is just an ordinary day

full

of sweet and simple things

that

have made me smile.

 

the last of my zinnias

sweet Alfie after his bath..he does not look very happy....but I am

watering my garden....

 

I am feeling so much better today.

 

I think I have my bloom back as my grandmother would say.
